The PPWCMA employs a staff team led by CEO David Buntine, and overseen by the PPWCMA Board.
The PPWCMA is made up of the following business units.
Community Engagement Team
The Community Engagement Team engages and supports various organisations involved in environmental management. This includes support for the 500+ Landcare and community groups within the region, support for the CatchmentCare Team and working closely with local government councils and indigenous groups.
Regional Catchment Strategy (RCS) Team
The RCS Team coordinates and monitors implementation of the Port Phillip and Western Port Regional Catchment Strategy by working with various people and organisations responsible for specific actions within the strategy.
Communications Team
The Communications Team supports the work of all other PPWCMA teams by coordinating internal and external communications, communications projects, media relationships and public events.
Major Projects Team
The Major Projects Team manages the development and delivery of four major environmental projects; Grow West, Living Links, Yarra4Life and Spirit of the Bunyip. This includes securing investment for these projects and the coordination of on-ground activities.
Business Team
The Business Team coordinates the business systems of the PPWCMA to ensure transparent and efficient management of all administrative, finance, human resource and governance processes.
