The Port Phillip and Westernport CMA leads collaborative planning for the environment within the Port Phillip and Western Port region.

Our role, and our strength, is to bring people and organisations together and provide leadership through the Regional Catchment Strategy to deliver better environmental outcomes for the region.

We do this by:

• Setting an environmental direction for the region through the Regional Catchment Strategy
• Engaging key stakeholders and the broader community in environmental planning and action
• Leading and assisting the development of major environmental projects that have multiple stakeholders and long term public benefits
• Reporting publicly on the implementation of environmental plans and the condition of the environment
