Do you want to know more about native grasses and pasture management? Do you need help identifying your native pasture?

If yes, then come along and listen to guest speaker Dr Meredith Mitchell who will speak on the importance of native grasses, their management and how to mitigate threats.

There will also be a field walk with plant identification.

Dr Meredith Mitchell is an Australian agronomist and Senior Research Scientist with Agriculture Victoria. She is a pasture agronomist and her research has focused on the selection of native grass cultivars for agricultural systems and the management of existing native pastures.

Representatives from Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party will also be in attendance.
