The Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network and the Port Phillip & Westernport Catchment Management Authority are pleased to invite you to join all of the project partners at the launch of the ‘Greens Bush to Arthurs Seat biolink’ project.
This project will re-establish a connection between Greens Bush and Arthurs Seat with weed/pest control, fencing and revegetation across 16-18 private properties.
The detailed planning has been undertaken by the Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network which will also now coordinate the implementation. This project is being supported with a $300,000 contribution over 4 years from the Victorian Government’s Our Catchments, Our Communities initiative.
This project is bringing to life the exciting vision of the local landholders and the Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network. Its works will include significant environmental and community benefits including for a number of waterways and local wetlands on the Mornington Peninsula.
It is a partnership project involving the Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network, PPWCMA, Natural Resources Conservation League of Victoria, Mornington Peninsula Shire, Parks Victoria, Melbourne Water, Birdlife Australia (Mornington Peninsula Branch) and Holmesglen and Chisholm Institutes.
Afternoon tea will be served after the launch.
