Aviva joined Grow West to help facilitate important planting works to be undertaken within the Lake Dewar planting site.
Aviva undertook a group planting day on Sunday, 14 September and it was attended by 77 Aviva staff and family members. 3,000 plants were planted across three hectares of steep terrain which reached the target despite challenging weather conditions.
The day illustrated the importance of partnerships in achiveing environmental improvements, with the day organised by Grow West, planting coordinated by Greening Australia and catering provided by the Bacchus Marsh Lions Club.
Congratulations to Aviva for its achievements.

eTree
eTree is a Computershare initiative with Landcare Australia. It is Australia's first environmental incentive scheme to encourage shareholders to register for electronic communications in return for increased reforestation activities around Australia and New Zealand.
Every time a shareholder registers to receive their shareholder communications electronically at www.eTree.com.au, a donation of up to $2 is made to Landcare Australia. This goes towards specified reforestation projects in the state or territory in which the shareholder lives.
Grow West has been chosen as a major eTree project in Victoria. The sponsorship dollars that have been received from eTree have enabled 65ha of revegetation works to be carried out within the project area as well as tree planting on the Western hwy escarpment.
