The Port Phillip and Westernport CMA has a dedicated Landcare Support Coordinator whose goal it is to provide strategic coordination and help groups and networks increase their capacity to engage members of the communities to participate in Landcare and associated natural resource management activities.
 
This role includes the development of new approaches to engage the community in natural resource management and to measure the effectiveness of Landcare activity. The Coordinator is also part of the Victorian State Landcare Team coordinated by the Department of Sustainability and Environment and through this contributes to building the capacity of Landcare to be an effective player in Victorian natural resource management.
